Webinar Description:

Please join us as the wonderful Joanne Elphinston, creator of the JEMS approach, presents our next online Webinar event Re-Connecting Missing Links: When Stretching, Strengthening and RCTs Don’t Cut It for Your Lower Quadrant Patient.

In this one-hour webinar, rehabilitative movement expert Joanne Elphinston engages with the tensions many clinicians wrestle with when applying evidence-based practice in the real world.

Moving beyond reductionist models & algorithms, Joanne explores the global lower-limb relationships that underpin efficient, adaptable, & truly functional movement.

These relationships often determine whether rehabilitation succeeds — or quietly stalls — despite best intentions & good protocols.

Through real patient examples & guided experiential exploration, you will examine:

  • how global relationships influence local symptoms & load tolerance
  • why context, intention, & coordination matter as much as measurable strength
  • where RCTs inform practice — & where they fall short in complex human movement

This session is highly practical, offering simple yet powerful techniques you can implement immediately in clinical practice.

You’ll leave with new ways of thinking, observing, & reasoning.
